CULTURE CONNECT
Culture Connect is an intercultural, non-profit community organisation, dedicated to helping new communities from different ethnic, cultural and faith backgrounds to integrate into the Irish society; also support indigenous Irish community to better understand new communities. The organisation focuses on promoting interaction, understanding and dialogue on issues that affect diverse communities. The organisation was founded upon the principles of equity and inclusion, believing that through intercultural dialogue, training support and opportunity to participate in social/cultural activities, people will be encouraged to become active citizens with increased expectations and skills to make positive change. Culture Connect is a platform for cultural diversity, friendship networks and information exchange in North East of Ireland with a holistic approach to integration, promotion of diversity and the empowerment of migrant communities; enabling them to actively participate and make meaningful contribution to their new community using below approaches:
- A one stop shop for information / intercultural resource centre for migrants.
- Conversational English language and Business / workplace language support
- Information Provision in different languages (in collaboration with the local Citizensâ Information Centre)
- Interpreting and Translating services
- Intercultural awareness training services
- Intercultural mediation
- Home work/Afterschool support for immigrant children whose parents have limited English language
- Intercultural summer camps promoting integration amongst children from all nations (Irish included)
- Intercultural community events for adults and children in the North East of Ireland
Since 2010, the organisation has been working with immigrants /ethnic minorities from about 45 different countries; providing them with cultural and language support. However, the focus of our work has developed in response to the issues presented by our target group and emerging needs around immigration, migrants, refugees, asylum seekers, new communities coming to Ireland, possible consequences of Brexit and the potential changes in relevant European rulings . As an organisation that is poised to connect and appreciate differences, we continually respond positively to emerging needs of service users to improve community cohesion, peace, tolerance and integration.
DIVERSITY HUB
Diversity Hub Foundation provides expert support in the field of diversity management, delivers knowledge, experience and best practices to help business benefit from diversity and to impact on social change.
In Diversity Hub we work on projects concerning Diversity and Inclusion, solving particular problems of employers and carrying out research aimed at providing the most accurate data, increasing and sharing knowledge in various fields of diversity management: age, gender, (dis)abilities, intercultural differences, as well as work-life balance, mental health, and finally employee rights (mobbing at work). We create our own innovative solutions aimed to improve the effective implementation of diversity management, cooperating with over 150 worldwide operates companies.
We promote the idea of managing diversity in business by integrating the community of experts around diversity: as an organiser D&I Changemakers Festival – the biggest conference on diversity in CEE and as a leader of the European D&I Network.
We continue a debate on topics related to diversity involving diverse environments: scientists, practitioners – representatives of business, public institutions, the media to develop and combine different approaches to the subject and inspire each other.

Since 1980, York Associates has been an industry-leading pioneer in the field of professional English and international communication training. As a pioneer in professional English language training and methodology, we run teacher training courses to familiarise trainers with our methodology. A particular focus of our teacher training is encouraging inclusive behaviours and practices, especially in the field of multiculturalism, migration and we offer practical programmes on designing intercultural training, working with migrant and refugee groups; including challenging behaviours and potential conflicts in the multicultural environments.
CPIP
Centrul Pentru Promovarea Invatarii Permanente â CPIP is a Romanian NGO that works in the area of Lifelong Learning since 2005. CPIP is committed to mainstreaming the principle of equal opportunities for all citizens in the public policies and associated practices, as an integral part of democratization and the creation of an open society. CPIP is working in multicultural contexts with partners from all-over Europe. The vision of CPIP is a European one. Education overcomes the borders of scholarly age and training is a lifestyle that goes beyond the walls of a specialized institution. With this in mind, the CPIP team promotes a fundamental concept for our existence as specialists active in European construction: lifelong learning. The mission of CPIP is to bring forward the concept of lifelong learning and make it accessible to the communities with which we come into contact.
RUNI CENTER
RUNI Center has more than 20 years of experience in working in three main fields â non-formal education, early language learning and implementation of national and international projects. The mission of the organisation is to help youths and adults to gain knowledge, soft skills and qualifications in order for them to be more adaptable to the dynamic social changes and present-day labour market requirements. In order to achieve these goals RUNI Center applies modern, interactive and effective working methods, such as: training by co-experience and educational games, role playing games, simulations with feedback, storytelling and others. RUNI Center guides young people and adults in the process of becoming successful individuals who will develop their full potential and achieve their goals. The main activities offered by RUNI in the sphere of non-formal education are implementation of intellectual development programs and soft and civic skills trainings. The main goals of the programs are developing certain skills and aptitudes, such as personal and other people`s acceptance, tolerance, flexibility, self-confidence and resilience to the negative influence of the social environment.
